Here's the second video of six that I'm creating for Whole Foods Market with CrossFit legend Austin Malleolo! In this one, Austin talks about shopping for the summer BBQ!
July 5, 2016-Cast Iron Hike
Here we have a picture of a great band: CAST IRON HIKE from Worcester, Mass. Cast Iron Hike broke up sometime in the 1990's. They reunited for 4 shows about 3 years ago and they came back just the other day to play with the mighty SAM BLACK CHURCH during their 3 show sold out run to celebrate the release of my documentary "Leave Behind A Groove In the Earth". I hope to see Cast Iron hike again real soon. Such a great band!

June 17, 2016-A bunch of stuff
As stated in the last post, I would be sharing more work this week, at least two pieces, so here's three.
First off, lots of real estate work going on all over the Boston area. Having a lot of fun!
Included in all of this real estate work, I provide floor plans of the properties for marketing.
Lastly, my film "Leave Behind A Groove In The Earth" about the Boston Hardcore band Sam Black Church, has been screening here and there. We have a few more screenings coming up, and we finally have DVDs to mail out to our Kickstarter supporters. YAY!
June 14, 2016 - WHOLE FOODS VIDEO #1 with Austin Malleolo
If you've been keeping track, I haven't posted a "Picture of the Week" for the past two weeks. That's because I was super busy making a bunch of work! One of which is this here video with CrossFit LEGEND Austin Malleolo. This is the first of 6 videos that I'll be making for Whole Foods this summer. STOKED!
Since there was a deficiency in the frequency of these posts lately. I'll be posting two more pieces this week! Stay tuned!
May 23, 2016-Il Monstro
IL MONSTRO! First show, at O'Briens!
May 16, 2016-Scissorfight Beer
GRANITE STATE DESTROYER, Scissorfight Beer tasting at Smuttynose Brewery, NH. Special thanks to Joe Grotto's sunglasses.
May 9, 2016-Old Jack
The band OLD JACK.
May 1, 2016-Mass Art Time Capsule
I had the honor and privilege of shooting the Mass Art Alumni Time Capsule ceremony on Friday evening.
Last fall, experimental film maker and fellow Mass Art alum, Luther Price, told me that there was a time capsule buried in the central courtyard at Mass Art in 1986. My mind went, "What dude? What dude? What dude?"
He said, "Yea this will be the 30th anniversary. We should dig it up and have show!"
Originally I wanted to make a mini-documentary about it. Unfortunately we couldn't get the funding. So, we made still photographs to document the event.
Also unfortunately, the state agency who approves digs, would not let us dig it up on Friday.
Buzz Kill.
All fun was not lost however. Current students and Alumni all contributed to a NEW Time Capsule, which will be unearthed in 2073, the 200th anniversary of Mass Art!. My film Leave Behind A Groove In The Earth, is literally IN THE EARTH!
Here we have non other than Mass Art Alum, total celebrity, and current Crypt Keeper of the Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM), Mr. Max Azanow! Here he is coming out of the current 2016-2073 Time Capsule! Good luck people of the future! You're about to get a big surprise under the school in 57 years! I'll either be 97 or more likely, in the earth myself! HA!
April 24, 2016-Scissorfight
Damn was this fun! The NEW Scissorfight with new members Doug "myowngrave" Aubin and Rick "stixxx" Orcutt along with original members Jay "octocock" Fortin, and Paul Jarvis, laid waste to the final slot of the Rock & Roll Rumble. Classic tunes along with new jams hit the air of ONCE Ballroom like the thunder of 10,000 New Hampshire Nor'Easters. And, I admit it, not long after this picture was made, I started the mosh pit. You're welcome.
April 18, 2016-Sam Black Church Documentary World Premiere
This is a picture I made of people watching the debut of my film, "Leave Behind A Groove In The Earth: The Story of Sam Black Church". It was an incredible night.
April 13, 2016-Fashion
I had the privilege of making pictures for fashion last week.
April 5, 2016-Flag Beast (with Jonah Jenkins)
Changing it up a bit this week. This is the first in a series of paintings with digital manipulation I'm doing with Jonah Jenkins. We showed this last week at ONCE Ballroom in Somerville, MA for the Put Down Ya Mic, Pic Up Ya Paintbrush Art show, curated by Nicole Tammaro.
March 28, 2016-Real Estate Photography
Real Estate Season is in full swing and I am shooting properties all over the Boston area, having a great time! Get in touch agents!
March 21, 2016-St. Patrick's Day
March 14, 2016-Queen Carla
On Sunday, the great Somerville music venue, Johnny D's, closed it's doors. I had the honor of shooting several shows there in the last year for Cringe Productions. Carla, and her family, owned the venue for decades. Part of Davis Square was closed off on Sunday and an amazing brass marching band called The Second Line Brass Band played in the street. It was a lot of fun.
March 9, 2016-Night
Another night picture from last fall. I dig making these pictures. Long exposures yield bitchin' results. One of my favorite aspects of photography is how light can can seem different than our naked eye once manipulated just slightly.
March 2, 2016-Friendship Commanders
This one is a call back from last week. As I said, I shot DIABLOGATO and Friendship Commanders in the same night. This is Jerry Roe, drummer for Friendship Commanders, a band based out of Nashville, TN. Check them out!
February 22, 2016-Diablogato
I shot DIABLOGATO randomly Saturday night. I was also at O'Briens, seeing Friendship Commanders, when I ran into DIABLOGATO drummer Jesse Von Kenmore. Jesse told me his new band was playing at Store 54. So I went back and forth across the street shooting bands. Fun night, good music!
